Personal Safety in the Reserve
As Cheetah Plains is set within an unfenced private reserve, wildlife roams freely throughout the camp, offering an authentic connection to the natural world. For your safety, we kindly ask that you do not feed any animals and remain within the camp’s demarcated areas unless accompanied by a field guide. After nightfall, please request assistance from your host, a night watchman, or your guide before walking anywhere on the property. Your safety is our utmost priority.
Fire Safety Procedures
In the unlikely event of a fire, please calmly make your way to the parking at the front of your villa, where our team will be on hand to assist. Smoke detectors are fitted in every suite for your safety. We encourage you to familiarize yourself with the suite layout map; please see below.
Malaria Precautions
As the Sabi Sand Nature Reserve is a malaria area, insect repellent is provided in each suite for your convenience. Beds are fitted with automatic mosquito nets, and overhead fans offer added comfort. Should you have any concerns, your host is on hand to assist.
Medical Emergency & Assistance
Should you require any medical assistance during your stay, please don’t hesitate to contact your host. A qualified medic is available on call to provide support with care and discretion.
